Description

  • Sewing with single needle, double needle, serge, walking foot, binding, elastic machines
  • Replace and rethread needles
  • Read and understand work orders
  • Follow diagram instructions
  • Count products stitched and record
  • Visual inspection for quality assurance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Move product from one area to another
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed

Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Basic math skills – count of merchandise
  • Able to sit/stand for 8 hours or more on a daily basis
  • Light to heavy lifting
  • Ability to adapt within a fast paced environment
  • Sewing machine experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic

  • Placing material on spreader and spreading
  • Visually check material for flaws, and touch test with sample material
  • Read and understand work orders
  • Follow work orders as to quantity to cut, bundle, snap, inspect, pack
  • Follow diagram instructions
  • Count products and record
  • Visual inspection for quality assurance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Move product from one area to another
  • Maintain equipment in a clean contamination control state
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping compliance
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed

The ideal candidate should have travel flexibility and be able to interact with sales and customers directly. The candidate must be able to sew and have 2D concept sketching ability mixed with 3D visualization skills that translate to functional designs.

Description

  • Manage all aspects of design and time study
  • Partner with Sales to create design and fabricate samples
  • Design, Plot/Print, Cut, Sew, Fold and Pack
  • Partner with Operations and Product Management to assure designs translate to a functional manufactured products
  • Develop strong relationship with Suppliers to create new products
  • Partner with Operations to assist in production plot nesting and marker printing
  • Partner with Customer for Technical Support

Requirements

  • Sewing experience with single needle and serge
  • CAD – SolidWorks / Gerber experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable to manage / oversee time studies
  • Experience with non-woven and woven goods
  • Travel flexibility to material shows, suppliers, and customers (minimal)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic

  • Partner with sales department to maintain pricing in operating systems
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any issues
  • Process daily production orders and update inventory
  • Monitor raw material inventory
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Partner with suppliers to maintain best pricing
  • Process daily receipts for raw material
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed

  • Strong computer skills including OFFICE and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP Operating Systems)
